2012 Volkswagen GTI

Right now, we propose 2012 Volkswagen GTI For you, This Post is Related With 2013 Lexus RX 350 F-Sport . You can use This image for backgrounds on computer system with high quality resolution.

2012 Volkswagen GTI
Austria, are a little too wild for the production line, but others actually have a shot at becoming reality. Last year's GTI convertible concept is a perfect example of the latter, as VW is set to launch a production-spec version in the form of the Volkswagen GTI Cabriolet at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

2012 Volkswagen GTI
Admittedly, the legwork needed to push a GTI Cabriolet into series production is quite minimal. The heavy lifting had already been done -- last year's launch of the Golf Cabriolet meant structural engineering was squared away, and the former Karmann factory in Osnabruck, Germany, had already been retooled for the new product line. Subsequently, creating a GTI Cabriolet out of an existing Golf Cabriolet is no more difficult for VW than turning any other Golf three- or five-door into a GTI hatch.

The Worthersee GTI Cabriolet concept boasted a thin black chin spoiler, along with matching fender flares and side skirts, but none of these parts are seen in the production car. The new GTI Cabriolet wears the same bespoke grille insert, lower front fascia, rocker sills, rear diffuser, and wheels -- your choice of 17-inch "Denver" or 18-inch "Detroit" patterns -- as its hatchback siblings. We suspect the Cabriolet may look a little lower once its convertible top is raised, thanks to a sleeker roofline and a raked windscreen. Interior amendments are also typical GTI fare. A flat-bottomed, leather-wrapped steering wheel is standard, as is a unique steering knob, brushed stainless steel pedals, and red accent stitching for the steering wheel, shifter, and parking brake handle. Front sport seats are standard, and are trimmed either in the iconic plaid-on-black fabric combination or optional black leather.

Structurally speaking, the GTI Cabriolet isn't much different from the existing Golf Cabriolet. Both models receive additional reinforcement -- including lateral braces for in the sills, a beefier rear subframe joint, and four diagonal braces -- in order to accommodate the lack of a fixed roof. The signature roll bar of prior Golf Cabriolets is no more. Instead, VW provides rollover protection by means of a reinforced windshield header and pop-up roll hoops located just aft of the rear seats. Surprisingly, when it comes to powertrain, the GTI Cabriolet isn't that far removed from its Golf cousin. As is the case with other European-spec GTI models, a turbocharged 2.0-liter I-4 whips up 207 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque - but that very same engine is offered in the Golf Cabriolet in an identical tune. The GTI's edge appears to lie in its driveline. While the Golf is available only with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the GTI is also offered with a row-it-yourself six-speed manual. GTI models also benefit from stiffer suspension tuning, thicker anti-roll bars, and Volkswagen's brake-based XDS electronic limited-slip system.

If a vehicle that mixes the fun of a GTI with the fun of open-air driving sounds too good to be true, you won't be surprised to learn the GTI Cabriolet forces owners to compromise. Predictably, space is at a premium, especially aft of the front seats. Rear passengers will find themselves with nearly three inches less legroom, along with about five inches less headroom once the top is raised. Trunk space, which sizes in at 8.8 cubic feet, is nearly half that of the GTI hatchback, although that figure doesn't decrease once the top is stowed. Additionally, the folding top and its requisite reinforcements add around 330 pounds to the GTI's curb weight. Arguing the pros and cons of the GTI Cabriolet is ultimately a moot exercise, at least for those of use who reside in North America. Like the Golf Cabriolet it's based upon, VW has no plans on bringing the GTI variant to our shores. Instead, the Osnabruck production line will supply only Volkswagen's European dealers, who expect to receive the car in early summer.

2013 BMW M6

These days, i propose 2013 BMW M6 For you, This Content is Related With 2013 Porsche Boxster . You need to use These picture for backgrounds on computer with Best Quality.

2013 BMW M6
The formula was simple: take the company's stunning grand tourer and add more performance. Today, the M division has once again upgraded the 6 Series, giving us in the form of the 2013 BMW M6 Coupe, which will bow at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Curiously, the accompanying M6 Convertible will come slightly earlier as a 2012 model, but will be shown a month later at the 2012 New York Auto Show.

 2013 BMW M6

2013 BMW M6

As with the previous M6, the new super duper two-doors share almost all mechanical components with BMW's venerable M5 sedan. Power for the new BMW M6 comes from the same drivetrain as the M5: an amped-up version of BMW's S63Tue twin-turbocharged, direct-injection, 4.4-liter V-8. Peak turbo boost of 21.7 psi helps produce 560 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque; the latter delivered in a flat band between 1500 and 5750 rpm. The new mill produces 10 percent more horsepower than the retired 5.0-liter V-10 and is 30 percent more efficient at the same time, BMW says.

A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission transmits that power to the rear wheels, complete with shift paddles on the steering wheel and a launch control mode. BMW claims the M6 coupe will hit 62 mph in 4.2 seconds and the M6 convertible in 4.3 seconds; both are electronically limited to 155 mph.

Like its M5 cousin, the M6 benefits from an Active M Differential that can automatically vary between open and full lock depending on available traction. It's designed to provide extra grip on slippery surfaces, while making the car easy to control in tight turns or slides. Other bespoke chassis upgrades for the M6 coupe and convertible include stiffer mounts for the suspension subframes and new aluminum suspension components. BMW's Dynamic Chassis Control allows the driver to switch the dampers among three settings ranging from Comfort to Sport Plus. And of course, BMW says the M6's handling was fine-tuned on Germany's famed Nuerburgring, like the 2012 M5 and almost every new sports car nowadays.

Racy Design Flourishes
The basic shape of the BMW M6 is roughly the same as the base 6 Series, albeit with a host of new body add-ons designed to give the car a racier appearance. The front fenders are flared to accommodate the widened (by 1.2 inches) track, deeper side skirts are fitted, and subtle M6 badges grace the body. The front fascia has enlarged air intakes and a deeper lip spoiler, while the rear cues include a subtle black diffuser and M division's signature quartet of round exhaust tips.

To help keep weight down, the front fenders and doors are made from aluminum. The M6 coupe goes even further with a roof panel constructed from lightweight carbon fiber, with an indentation in the center that lends the panel a double-bubble appearance. Both cars also get BMW's Shadowline treatment, which replaces the chrome around the greenhouse with gloss-black trim. The standard M-specific alloy wheel measures 19 inches in diameter and the aforementioned 20-inch version is optional. The M6's cabin also looks racier, starting with carbon-fiber trim pieces, special bolstered M seats, an Anthracite headliner, and a racy metal dead pedal. The most significant changes, though, concern the steering wheel and center console. The former gets M1 and M2 buttons, which allow the driver to access preset driving modes -- one might be configured for winding back roads, while the other could dial in a hard-edged chassis setup for track days. BMW's M DCT shifter sprouts from the center console, flanked by buttons allowing the driver to optimize steering, suspension, transmission, and engine performance settings.

We have high hopes for the new BMW M6 based on our experiences with its key ingredients. We've found the regular 6 Series coupe and convertible to be outstanding grand tourers, while the new M5 sport sedan is a fantastic performance machine. Mixing the performance of the latter with the bodies of the former should make for a thrilling new model. The 2012 BMW M6 convertible reaches dealers in the U.S. in June 2012, followed by the 2013 M6 coupe later this summer. BMW won't announce fuel economy and pricing for the pair of fast two-doors until closer to their on-sale dates, but expect the M6 to start north of the present car's $102,000-plus starting point.

2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG

Currently, i propose 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG For you, This Post is Similar With Toyota Yaris Hybrid . You need to use These photograph for backgrounds on computer system with HD.

For the 2013 SL63 AMG, the engine in question is the M157 mill also found in several other recent AMG models. It is a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8 tuned in the SL63 to produce 530 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The engine will rocket the SL63 to 60 mph in a claimed 4.2 seconds, with top speed electronically restrained to 155 mph.

 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG

2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG
If buyers select the AMG Performance package, output rises to 550 hp and 664 lb-ft, reducing the 0-to-60-mph time to 4.1 seconds and nudging the speed limiter up to 186 mph. The regular SL550, by contrast, makes do with a twin-turbo 4.5-liter V-8 with 429 hp, and takes a claimed 4.5 seconds to reach 60 mph. That SL is limited to just 130 mph.

Between the engine and rear wheels is Mercedes' AMG Speedshift, a seven-speed automatic transmission that uses a wet clutch pack in place of a traditional torque converter and sports four shift modes. The gentlest setting, Controlled Efficiency (C), also activates the SL63’s engine stop-start system to help save fuel when idling. Upgrading to the AMG Performance pack also includes a locking limited-slip rear differential for more traction. In addition, Mercedes says the new engine and other additions like stop-start make the 2013 SL63 AMG about 30 percent more fuel-efficient than the old car; the 2012 SL63 scored EPA ratings of 12/19 mpg city/highway.

Complementing the extra motive force is an assortment of chassis updates. Above all, Mercedes-Benz notes that the 2013 SL63 is at least 275 pounds lighter than the outgoing model, in part because the new roadster makes extensive use of aluminum in its chassis and suspension, in addition to bits of carbon fiber and magnesium to help save weight in other areas.

The SL63 is brought to a halt by massive AMG brakes, 15.3-inch discs gripped by six-piston calipers in front and 14.2-inch rear discs grabbed by single-piston calipers. Buyers can upgrade to higher-performance ceramic brake discs like those found on the SLS AMG supercar; opting for the AMG Performance treatment paints the brake calipers red. The SL63 rides on an AMG sports suspension based on Mercedes' ABC adaptive suspension and switchable between Comfort and Sport modes. Compared to the regular SL550, the AMG model has thoroughly revised suspension tuning with significantly more negative camber. The roadster also gets AMG's speed-sensitive steering assist; it has a faster ratio than in the SL550, and the assistance changes in concert with the suspension setting. Finally, AMG adds its three-mode stability control, which has a more-lenient "Sport Handling" setting.

To complete the transformation, AMG blessed the SL63 with a new front fascia and splitter, a black decklid spoiler and rear diffuser, chrome quad exhaust tips, several V8 BITURBO badges, and a unique front grille. The standard wheels are lightweight 19-inch units, and buyers can upgrade to forged AMG Performance Studio wheels that measure 19 inches front, 20 inches rear. The two-place cabin scores a flat-bottom AMG Performance steering wheel, the Racetimer performance meter screen, leather-covered AMG sport seats with carbon-fiber backing, and the AMG Drive Unit buttons that allow selection of suspension and transmission modes. The 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG will make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Rumors suggest the car may be followed by an even more powerful SL65 AMG, possibly with a turbocharged V-12 engine. The new SL63 reaches showrooms in the U.S. market in mid-July 2012, about two months after the regular SL550 goes on sale here.

2013 Volvo V40

These days, we recommend 2013 Volvo V40 For you, This Article is Similar With Citroen DS4 Racing . You may use This image for backgrounds on Cell phone with Best Quality.

2013 Volvo V40
The Volvo V40 hatchback hopes to build on the success of the S60 sports sedan with excellent interior and exterior style plus an added dose of hatchback practicality. Although information on the car leaked early, the Volvo V40 officially debuts at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

2013 Volvo V40

Volvo says the V40 will be offered with a number of diesel and gasoline engines. The base engine offering in Europe is Volvo's 1.6-liter turbo-diesel I-4, which produces 115 hp, 199 lb-ft of torque, and 94 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometer. The top-spec engine in the V40 range is the familiar T5, a turbocharged 2.5-liter I-5 that now produces 254 hp. Volvo says that extra bit of power allows a V40 T5 to sprint from 0-62 mph in 6.7 seconds.

Autocar reports there will be four additional engine offerings, including a 1.6-liter turbocharged I-4 in both 150- and 180-hp forms, and a 2.0-liter turbo-diesel I-5 in 155- and 177-hp guises. Regardless of the engine or transmission selected, the new Volvo V40 will be equipped with brake energy regeneration and an engine start/stop system. As one would expect from a Volvo, the V40 is equipped with the company's City Safety system, along with its Pedestrian Safety function with full automatic braking. Volvo claims the system is now capable of operating at speeds up to 31 mph, which is 12 mph faster than before. The V40 is also equipped with a pedestrian airbag, reportedly a world first, that promises to reduce pedestrian injuries should the car not stop in time. As we've previously reported, the new Volvo V40 will not be sold in the United States, focusing instead on sport utility vehicles like the XC60 and XC90. For Europeans, however, the V40 is well on its way: production of the car starts in Belgium this May, which means the new car should hit European showrooms this summer, in time for it to wade into battle against established competition from Audi's A3 and BMW's 1 Series.
