Honda says that the 2013 Crosstour features more "capable, SUV-like styling" due to numerous revisions, primarily to the front end. It features bigger headlights, a grille framed in thick chrome-like finish, and new rectangular foglamp housings in the lower bumper.

Contrasting trim and a sill plate contribute to the more squared-off, solid look as compared to the droopy fascia in the previous Crosstour. This contrasting lower trim carries through the side of the concept, which also sports 5-spoke 19-inch rims, which Honda says will make way for 18-inchers on the production model. We've yet to see the interior, but Honda says its heavily revised as well.

Mechanically, the 3.5-liter V-6 is promised a power increase -- though Honda's not mentioning any numbers -- and the five-speed automatic makes way for a six-speed. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, introduced for 2012, carries over along with its five-speed auto.

Technologically, the 2013 Crosstour will be one of the first Hondas available with lane departure warning and forward collision warning systems when it goes on sale this fall. Also available will be Honda's LaneWatch blind-spot display, which according to Honda, "uses a camera system mounted on the passenger mirror for an enhanced view of the passenger-side roadway."
